About Sustainable Steps

We created Sustainable Steps at Cross River Partnership (CRP) as part of our Defra-funded Clean Air Villages 4 (CAV4) programme to help small businesses along their sustainability journey.

CAV4 was a Defra-funded project led by Westminster City Council in collaboration with 26 project partners to improve air quality across different London ‘villages’, where air pollution and population density levels are high. We have designed Sustainability Steps to help small- and medium-sized businesses in London operate more sustainably in manageable chunks. SMEs can update their progress, and share it with their stakeholders.

Visit our website to see other tools we have developed to help improve London’s air quality while supporting businesses. You can also see our publications for related research and case studies.

We’re happy to help you further understand your transport emissions or answer questions related to our other work, so do get in touch.
